Sony Ericsson releases the Xperia Active Billabong Edition smartphone

Sony Ericsson and Billabong (the sports and lifestyle brand) have teamed up to bring in a new flavor of the previously release Xperia active smartphone. Designed for the extreme sports enthusiasts, the Sony Ericsson Xperia active Billabong Edition features a tough, scratch-resistant body with wet finger tracking feature. The rest of the specs and features of the Xperia Active remain intact in this flavor variant of the device. Additionally, Sony Ericsson and Billabong have also created exclusive content including Billabong screensavers, videos and Billabong LIVE Android app. To promote the device, Billabong will also be featuring it in major events worldwide. As a reminder, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Active Billabong Edition features a 5MP camera with 8x digital zoom and video recording, 3.0-inch capacitive multi-touch screen with Reality Display and Mobile BRAVIA Engine, on-screen QWERTY keyboard, aGPS, Bluetooth, DLNA, 1GB internal storage,  Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and up to 5 hours talk time.
